This greyscale site specific mural by local artist Daniel Mead is under the HW1 motorway bridge. It celebrates Maxwell Bury the architect who designed the University of Otago Clock Tower building in 1879.
On the opposite side of the road is a modern piece showing stylised cats by an unknown artist.
If you glance over the bridge onto the Leith River flood walls you will see some ever changing colourful graffiti art. If you walk along the path that is on the far side of the river and follow it along you will come to another bride and see graffiti art pieces here as well.
