Save Zilker Park

Description

The mural advocates for the preservation of Austin's iconic park through a whimsical, graphic composition featuring the message "Save Zilker Park," a stylized tree-headed figure, leaves, bats, stars, a crescent moon, and references to Barton Springs and Zilker Park. Painted in Fabian Rey's signature bold, folk-art-inspired style with playful typography and vibrant blues, pinks, and yellows, the artwork celebrates Austin's natural heritage while encouraging stewardship of one of the city's most beloved public spaces.
