"NEW ORLEANS WILD THING"

Description

Henry Lipkis works in both latex and spray and says his ultimate goal is to “get the neighborhood talking about what else could be.” Devin Reynolds who went to nearby Tulane Architecture School, came together with Lipkis to paint this wall along a popular Second Line route at Claiborne and First in New Orleans. Lipkis says the New Orleans Wild Thing is a tribute to Mardi Gras Indians and six hand gestures of human empowerment.
