Töchter & Söhne – Galerie & Café

Description

Galerie Töchter & Söhne (Daughters & Sons Gallery) is a unique art gallery and gallery café located in the Holthausen district (Reisholzer Hafen) of Düsseldorf. Established in 2015 inside a charming, historic former tavern, the venue features high ceilings, original wood and stone flooring, and a distinct industrial-chic character.

The building's exterior walls also function as an evolving, open-air street art canvas.

In 2013 I started with a new hobby. In the beginning it was difficult to get reliable information how to find streetart in public space. In 2016, I had the idea of sharing my information with other street art enthusiasts and started my blog “Streetartwalks”. When I found out about this new street art community at the beginning of 2018, I was immediately on board.
