This is a mural by the Spanish street artist Sr. X at the Old Union Yard Arches. Sr. X is a well-known Spanish street artist who has been living and working in London for many years. He keeps his true identity and face hidden. Sr. X combines traditional painting, spray paint and stencils. His artworks often have a strong pop art feel, featuring clean lines, bold contrasts and surrealist elements.
The artwork was created in September 2024 as part of the London Mural Festival. Sr. X was directly nominated and commissioned for this by The Arch Company (the organisation responsible for managing the railway arches) to transform this blank wall on Union Street into a creative landmark.

My avatar is a picture taken at the corner of Braithwaite Street and Bethnal Green Road (Shoreditch, London) of a street art poster by Shepard Fairey and Damien Hirst: Third Eye Butterfly Mandala.
