From Dublin Aches is another repeat visitor to Bring the Paint. His work often plays with colour theory and how colours blend together. When painting on a white background like in Leicester he is creating work with what he describes as subtractive colour theory. Using colours such as cyan, magenta, yellow and black. When those colours overlap on a white background they get darker which creates a full spectrum. The piece for Bring the Paint uses that effect in full and he has painted a giant tag saying ‘ACHES’ using it.
