The artist BUJA, who is based in Dudenhofen near Speyer, playfully—and often ironically—combines iconic imagery from art, pop culture, and everyday life. For his mural in Ebertpark, he brings together a traditional depiction of the Virgin Mary with a bright pink poop emoji, creating a striking collision between high art and everyday culture.
