We have been inspired by the heat sensitivity maps provided by GIZ for the neighborhood covering parts of the mural background and backdrop, in the meanwhile we added a human touch and portrait of a happy child gazing at the abundant foliage above her where the optimism denotes hope for climate and environmental protection. Overlapping pixels demonstrate the heat build-up and impact generated by humans as a result of high population densities besides declining natural resources and an increased demand for energy - says Engy Al Garf the lead artist.
