Il modo migliore per procurarsi cibo, combinando astuzia e pigrizia, è un interrogativo che solo l’ingegno dei gatti può risolvere. Il felino raffigurato dall’artista è stato sorpreso subito dopo aver saccheggiato il mercato ittico, trasformandosi così in un pescatore di pesce pescato.
L’ironia evidente sottesa all’opera dimostra che la street art può giocare con i contesti in cui si inserisce; in questo caso il mercato ittico ospita sulla facciata principale un “gatto ittico”, che entra così a far parte del mondo degli animali giganti creato dall’artista ormai da alcuni anni.
Il progetto dell’opera, sviluppato durante il lockdown, è nato dall’idea di raccontare un’invasione pacifica degli animali, rimasti a dominare quasi incontrastati gli spazi urbani.
L’immagine mira a creare un momento ludico e un’interazione con lo spettatore, che coglie in flagranza di reato il felino impertinente e sfacciato intento a rubare di nascosto i frutti del mare.

The best way to obtain food, combining cunning and laziness, is a question that only the ingenuity of cats can answer. The feline depicted by the artist was caught immediately after plundering the fish market, thus transforming into a fisherman catching fish.
The evident irony underlying the work demonstrates that street art can play with its contexts; in this case, the fish market features a "fish cat" on its main facade, thus joining the world of giant animals the artist has been creating for several years.
The project for the work, developed during the lockdown, was born from the idea of narrating a peaceful invasion of animals, who have remained to dominate urban spaces almost unchallenged.
The image aims to create a playful moment and interaction with the viewer, who catches the impertinent and brazen feline red-handed, intent on stealing seafood.
