Description

Buscher Mühle is the last remaining historical watermill in the city of Düsseldorf, located on the Northern Düssel river in the Düsseltal district. Its origins date back to the early 14th century. Today, following extensive restoration efforts, the historic building serves as a vibrant social and cultural community center and local history museum.

Covering around 50 square meters, the mural (painted 2013) visually chronicles the almost 700-year history of the mill, incorporating key historical dates and milestones.

In 2013 I started with a new hobby. In the beginning it was difficult to get reliable information how to find streetart in public space. In 2016, I had the idea of sharing my information with other street art enthusiasts and started my blog “Streetartwalks”. When I found out about this new street art community at the beginning of 2018, I was immediately on board.
