''One of the most painful and unresolved chapters in the recent history of our country is the war in Abkhazia. As with any war, Georgian women also played a crucial role in this chapter of our history. I vividly remember how my mother tried to shield us from the horrors of war by distracting us with games, to make it less stressful for us, as did many other women. Most of them were left with uncertainty about the future and an inhospitable environment, yet they still managed to cling to hope and not deprive the next generation of it.
The theme of my work also aligns with this idea of mystical, fiery energy within women. It can shed light and hope even in the darkest times.''
