Created in 2016, the mural combines Dede’s trademark bird, beautifully assembled using scraps of wood salvaged from destroyed homes, with Nitzan’s intensely emotional poem about parting with a loved one. The bird spreads its wings, ready to migrate in search of better conditions, reflecting gentrification in the Žižkov district. The artwork’s location near the train station and bus terminal evokes farewells, often greeting people as they say goodbye to friends or family leaving the city.
