Covington, Kentucky art great Frank Duveneck painted The Cobbler's Apprentice while at the Royal Academy of Munich and sold the painting in Germany for $25. The work eventually made it to Cincinnati's Taft Museum and in 2011 @TimParsley led a team of @ArtWorksCincy teaching assistants and youth interns adapting the original, replacing a cigar with a bat, just a short block from The Great American Ballpark.
