Named after John A. Roebling who built the neighboring bridge in 1866 as a prototype for the Brooklyn Bridge, The Roebling Murals were created by Louisiana muralist Robert Dafford and a team of assistants between 2002 and 2005. The 18 panels painted on the flood wall of the Ohio River tell the history of Covington, Kentucky, highlighting important people, places, and events. (The detail above is of Baptist minister and successful lumber dealer Jacob Price, an important civic leader who helped establish Covington schools for African American children.) @daffordmurals
