Alte Meister - Kiefernstraße 25

Description

House number 25 was famously known as the Castle Facade. Under the working title "Alte Meister" (Old Masters), the facade featured a massive, painted stone fortress design complete with grey medieval battlements and brickwork. This style provided a strong, almost fortified visual transition directly adjacent to the gritty, rebellious punk club AK47 at house number 23.
