En Fuentes de Andalucía, @zesarbahamonte propone un mural que nace directamente de la voz de su gente. A través de encuentros informales, conversaciones en redes, charlas en bares y testimonios personales, el artista inició una investigación abierta que partía de los códigos rurales y costumbristas de la campiña sevillana. Sin embargo, pronto emergió un relato inesperado y vibrante: la memoria musical del pueblo, marcada por el breakbeat andaluz y por
una generación de DJs que definió una escena única en los años noventa y primeros dos mil.
Ese descubrimiento se convierte en el corazón del mural Calistales, cuyo nombre alude a los eucaliptales donde tenían lugar las raves improvisadas que forman parte del imaginario
colectivo fontaniego. Se dice incluso que, reunidas, las colecciones de vinilos del municipio podrían constituir el archivo más amplio de este género en Andalucía.

In Fountains of Andalusia, @zesarbahamonte proposes a mural born directly from the voice of its people. Through informal encounters, conversations in networks, talks in bars and personal testimonies, the artist initiated an open investigation that started from the rural codes and customs of the Seville countryside. However, soon emerged an unexpected and vibrant story: the musical memory of the people, marked by the Andalucian breakbeat and by
a generation of DJs that defined a unique scene in the nineties and early 2000s.
That discovery becomes the heart of the Calistales mural, whose name alludes to the eucalyptals where improvised raves took place that form part of the imaginary
fountain collective. It is even said that, put together, the vinyl collections of the municipality could constitute the largest archive of this genre in Andalucia.
