Claire Prouvost is a French visual artist based in Dublin who is known for her colorful, minimalist style. Her work ranges from digital illustration and acrylic painting to large-scale murals and street art.
The mural in Cork is inspired by the nearby Firkin Crane Dance Center. The dynamic shapes and vibrant colors symbolize dance, music, theater, and performance, as well as their unifying and positive impact on people. The work draws on the long tradition of dance and music in Cork and Ireland.
