Speto was born in Sao Paulo (Brazil) and can be defined as one of the graffiti pioneers In Brazil. His works contain a lot of passion for Brazil and the Brazilian culture, especially The Cordel style. He portrays things in a simple and playful way. 

Some of his influences are: Picasso, J.Borges, Samico, Portinari, Lucien Freud, Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, Ezra Jack Keats.
