"Blick aus dem Fenster"

Description

This mural is known to the people of Bremen as the "Grandma and Grandpa Picture". It is located at Auf den Häfen 30-32 in Bremen - Mitte right next to the large roundabout at the Rembertiring with its lanes at the bottom and top. The idyll of old age gapes in relation to the technological world. At the same time, the picture was intended as a criticism of the clear-cutting in the Ostertor district and became a symbol of rethinking in Bremen's urban planning.

For the view out of the window, Mr. and Mrs. Wagner from Bremen were the inspriration. The artist's neighbours lived at Alexanderstrasse 23 and looked out of the back window of the house for the sketch.
