Street Art Cities

This landscape composition was painted as part of this year’s 2024 by the wonderful street artist The Hass.

These are his words about the piece:

"The mural is located on the North Street Green, dead opposite the Upfest gallery. The location came with two loose constraints, to paint something of a nature theme and to use a variety of green shades.

The artwork centres around a photograph I took of my partner of 10 years, I particularly liked the strip of lighting running through her eye created by shadows from standing beneath a fan leaf. The addition of the Peacock allowed me to create correlations between her eyes and the peacock feathers."
