Description

This vibrant mural on Pedley Street, near Brick Lane, depicts two graffiti characters in the cartoon-style hip-hop aesthetic that characterises Questz’s work.

Questz (often working under the group name Questz A51 IC or Questz I.C.) is a graffiti artist on the British urban art scene. He is known for his cartoon-style characters with exaggerated facial features, often adorned with iconic hip-hop accessories such as retro headphones, microphones, hoodies and baseball caps. A distinctive element of his work is the use of intricate, fine-lined patterns within the characters, reminiscent of complex tattoos – for instance, the names ‘Cabo’ and ‘Questz’ can be made out on the arms of both characters on this particular artwork.
