Nu comme un verre

This collage is part of the “Au pied de la Lettre” (To the letter) series begun by Les Murs ont des Oreilles in the fall of 2020.
The expression “Nu comme un verre”—literally “naked as a glass,” and figuratively meaning completely nude—is illustrated by the painting “Diana Leaving the Bath,” created in 1742 by the painter François Boucher and exhibited at the Louvre Museum in Paris.
For this piece, the artist positioned the two women inside a pink “Goldie” champagne coupe from Maison Westwingnow, visually reinforcing the idea of transparency and exposure suggested by the expression.
The artwork’s colors have faded over time, but it is still visible today.
