Mural created during M.UR.A. Festival, the first festival dedicated to urban art in the city of Bergamo (2025). Discover all murals here.
The project draws inspiration from "lumbung", an Indonesian practice meaning "community granary." Here, each person deposits a portion of their harvest in a shared space: what is stored no longer belongs to the individual, but becomes a shared resource, available to all and to future generations. The mural depicts a hut-like rice paddy, from which grains of rice spread, and figures carrying and receiving seeds, signs of life and a shared future. Painted on the façade of a school, the work celebrates children as the seeds of the new generations, who grow up carrying with them a sense of sharing and empathy as fundamental tools for building more just and inclusive communities.
