Street Art Cities

This work is part of Streets with Memory is an artistic and community project that has as its guiding thread the historical memory of the neighborhood of Sant Pere, Santa Caterina and the Ribera de Ciutat Vella in Barcelona. The aim is to claim the past of this emblematic road, the ancient Roman Via Augusta, through the artistic intervention of 10 shutters that explain the history of the neighborhood whether from the cultural, artistic or social side.

This work is inspired by The origin of the name Carrer dels Corders which comes from the Gremi de corders that was established in Barcelona in 1404.
