Street Art Cities

The birds are inspired by the stamps of the Republic of South Maluku. Because the republic is not internationally recognized, these stamps were once printed but never officially used. The letters scattered around the birds stand as a symbol for messages that never reached their destination. The artist, himself from Moluccan descend, aims to give the stamps and the stories that never reached their destination the recognition they deserve.
