Who hasn't seen a pair of Chuck Taylors suspended over a wire above the road, evidence of boisterous kids having passed this way? This mural on the side of a tire store captures that throwback in time, centering it in El Paso with the star on the mountain. The surface the artist worked on was brutal, but he managed to incorporate that fact into the design. And of course, a tip of the hat to the spray paint artist in the form of a spray can, and the "915" (El Paso's area code).
