Flower Power

The mural “Flower Power” extends over two buildings, four walls and with over 1,000 m2, it is the largest mural in Zurich.

The composition shows a grandmother and granddaughter tying a flower wreath. Important knowledge about flora and fauna is thus passed on through generations.

The colorful work of art adorns the previously gray facades on the Hardfeld site in Zurich. The graffiti was commissioned by the recycling company Spross.

It represents the passion for high-quality living spaces of the family business, which is now run by the fifth generation and became the guiding principle of the entire artistic concept.

The mural “Flower Power” is a first-time collaboration between the two urban artists REDL (ZH) and BANE (GR), who, together with six collaborating artist colleagues, realized the art intervention in spring 2024 within four weeks
