Lego bridge 2.0

In the summer of 2020, Wuppertal-based street artist Martin Heuwold, known as MEGX, created a second Lego bridge in the eastern part of the city: the Lego Bridge 2.0. It spans the B7/Dahler Straße in Wuppertal-Langerfeld and connects the Schwarzbachtrasse, a pedestrian and cycling path, with the Nordbahntrasse. Unlike the first bridge from 2011, which was designed in typical Lego primary colors, the Rainbow Bridge features a vibrant color palette inspired by the diversity of the rainbow, symbolizing openness and inclusivity.

Martin Heuwold, known for his colorful and playful street art, often combines everyday elements with extraordinary designs. His style is characterized by clear shapes and bold colors, creating a positive and approachable atmosphere.
