THE ARTIST - Miles MacGregor aka El Mac lives and works in Los Angeles. The influence of El Mac's Mexican and Chicano culture is felt in all of his creations. His preferred technique is a kind of black and white photorealism. What makes El Mac's works so memorable is his ability to bring a modern twist to the conventionality of human portraiture by incorporating his detailed linework

THE PROJECT: 'Wuppertal Tanzt' is a homage to the dance choreographer Pina Bausch in the public space of the city of Wuppertal. WUPPERTAL DANCE deals with its 15 international dance co-productions and has them individually interpreted by urban artists from the respective co-production countries in the public space of the city of Wuppertal.

WUPPERTAL TANZT are 10 murals for 10 city districts - 10 dance stories, 10 countries, 10 artists, 10 views and 10 perspectives by international street artists.
