Historical mural # PokoleniaNiepodlegnej, which was created on the building of the IPN Archives in Wroclaw, commemorates the most important achievements of Poles in the fight for state independence and freedom of citizens. Over the last century, the struggle for these values was fought first with the partitioners, and then with two totalitarianisms: Nazi and communist. This struggle was successful, it gained recognition from other nations, and for many of them it became an inspiration in searching for its own path to freedom. The mural shows in a symbolic way our passages from 1918 to the present day, in which we can enjoy the independence and achievements of modern times.
