The Miracle of School IV

The 2022 Visaginas City Festival called for a new look at the city's spaces, even those that are unattractive. The mural art festival brought together artists such as Marija Tiurina and others. They painted murals on the exterior walls of the former school.

"New mural in my rusty and cosy little Eastern Lithuanian hometown, on a 15-meter-tall brick wall that belongs to a secondary school | used to go to at the beginning of this century. The school has been abandoned for 15 years now, but my memories of the classrooms and corridors are still fresh... Funny enough, right after I finished the mural, I went for a stroll through the dusty halls of the school and set a trapped and dehydrated sparrow free. How symbolic is that??", - wrote M. Tiurina on her Instagram profile, presenting the artwork.
