Each street, no matter how crooked or narrow, holds countless stories. As it is impossible to tell them all, Histórias Viandantes decided to pay homage to some.
The blue bouquet of five tears is an image of a crockery brand from Viana do Castelo. However, what is now tradition did not start like that. The apparent simplicity of the blue and white crockery hides the technical virtuosity of a series of painters who, with the factory closed, bequeathed the labor of the bouquet to a corner of memory shared with their fingers.
The painting is located in the courtyard of the "Museu de Artes Decoratives" (Museum of Decorative Arts), so there is an entrance fee. But the fee is low (€2.30 in 2024) and also includes access to the Museu do Traje (costume museum).
