Reforestando Anemone Nemorosa

Spanish street artist Doa Oa made this beautiful, Monet inspired, contribution for the 2023 Artscape festival in the city of Vänersborg.

"This white anemone, also known as Wind Flower, Forest Flower or Fox Smell, grows wild in many forests in Sweden, creating colonies that cover the ground with a white blanket of its delicate flowers. These flowers bring a lot of joy, since seeing them appear after the snow melts is the warning that spring is arriving and with it the warmest and brightest time, long awaited after the long winter."
