Elrond's unusual colour combinations, the signature style of Christian Enríquez from Burjassot, are one of the distinctive features of his art. With his work, located right next to that of his colleagues, he has sought to evoke, as is customary in his creations, feelings of uncertainty, perhaps fear, and always discomfort. In his view, his characters, sometimes gloomy and usually with touches of a certain aggressiveness, aim to stir up the viewer in a certain way and emphasise the fact that there must also be room in art for images or creations that are not socially recognised as pleasant or “beautiful”.
