L'identità di Tricarico

In Tricarico, this mural unfolds as a visual synthesis of the town’s identity and heritage. The composition is set against the historic walls and the three towers of its Arab-Norman past, anchoring the artwork in place and history.

At the center stands Rocco Scotellaro, the poet-mayor, accompanied by fragments of his writings—highlighting his lasting cultural and social influence on the community. Alongside him appears Antonio Infantino, representing the musical tradition of Tricarico and its living legacy.

The scene is completed by the iconic masks of the Carnevale di Tricarico, symbols of local folklore and collective identity.
