Ode to the progress has been rewarded as the winner of Torrefarrera Street Art Festival contest 2023.
In this wall painting I wanted to represent the concept of human evolution for the last decades. The search of technological development has increased the climate change and the human population, making it harder to create enough resources for us all. Everytime we (has humans) think we make one step forward, we are actually making to steps backwards.
This evolution is making everything worse and still, we don’t care about the consequences.
Some things don’t need to be advanced and developed, just accept them and focus our energy and resources on improving what we have without damaging the planet. We need to RE-START.
