The Partisan Resistance was an armed movement opposing Fascism and Nazism installed in Italy during World War II. When German troups made surrender they left the country, but before doing that they made a gratuitous and pointless massacre of Collegno and Grugliasco partisans and civilians. In that time of darkness, people have never lost hope. When the danger became bigger people united, to take advantage of the bigger flame of solidarity. This artwork celebrates these heroes, bright example of sacrifice, courage, loyalty, fight and deep faith for a free and democratic Italy.
