Cernunnos

In mythology, the renewal of the stag's horns symbolizes the constant renewal of life, a circle between growth, death and rebirth. In this artwork of Ufo Cinque, the horns become branches, protecting a big nest carrying an egg, in ancient times identified with the soul of the world. On the top a medieval city (representing the Italian historic heritage) elevates upon everything, a city that could not exist without being in harmony with the natural circle of life. This kind of city is the aim of the Goal 11 of the project Towards 2030: sustainable cities and communities.
