Corn79, Mr Fijodor

no title

The artwork represents a beehive at its base, thus evoking the fragility of the ecosystem, combined with the germinative preciousness of the pollination action. Above is a cigarette, poisonous and unconscious waste thrown into the environment, and above that is the balanced elephant, a symbol of strength and wisdom, and at the same time a reminder of the theme of the extinction of species.

The car and the bicycle represent our choices in the relationship with urbanization and at the top the profile of a factory city that compresses everything. The factory recalls the industrial past of the area, which emerges in some residual signs of the urban landscape.

It is the sign of the city that produces and consumes, of the artifice, of the productive action of man and is at the same time a reflection on the industrial future and on the meaning and methods of production
