Hoefstraat

These murals on the transformer house were created by Avid Mouse in 2022. Municipality of Tilburg gave Avid Mouse the opportunity to decorate this small building with graffiti. The artwork symbolizes two people falling in love at first sight. The frames around the portraits depict that young people are connecting primarily through dating sites these days. On one side of the cottage are many arrows. These represent the choices you have to make in life to determine your future life course. 
Jarno Hamers (aka Avid Mouse) is a young artist born in Tilburg. He studied at the Theresialyceum in Tilburg where he discovered his passion for art. After years of drawing he turned this into graffiti. He designs many character and draws inspiration from stereotypes from everyday life. He also initiates drawing workshops.
