Leon Keer (1980, Utrecht, NL) is one of the world’s foremost artists in 3D Street Art who has created work on the streets across the world. He is a leading artist in anamorphic street art. In addition to using optical illusion, he often presents his art by adding new technologies, such as augmented reality and video mapping. By playing with perspectives he creates incredible new worlds. For the schoolyard of primary school "De Wegwijzer" Leon created this lifelike ravine with stepping stones and a waterfall. A hopscotch track leads to a gorge, rocks are piled high and a ramshackle bridge hangs above the ravine. It's like you are standing in front of a huge abyss. As said, the artist loves to add extra dimensions, like augmented reality, to his artwork. When you download the free special LeonKeer-app you can experience a fourth dimension. When ointing your phone towards the artwork butterflies begin to fly and plants start to gow. It is a super fun interactive painting for the children to play on.
