The work of local illustrator, Philip Dennis @philipdennis_art involves symbols and patterns inspired by imagery from the built environment and community in his home town of Thornton Heath. Philip created 'Home Forms' after conducting a series of workshops where he used ‘observational drawing’ as the main technique. The artist then transformed drawings into bold, graphic forms and patterns, which used as direct inspiration for the design of the public artwork.
