In 2015 Owen Dippie packed up his spray cans and relocated to Auckland but not before completing a series of works in and around Ashworth Lane, the location of his former studio, shop and gallery.

The painting of the Notorious B.I.B. glowers down and I swear you can almost hear him asking “what you want?”. This work is one of a series titled ‘Respect the Dead’.
