Tarcutta Water Tank

This water tank art can be found in the rest area on the Hume Highway, 13.2km south of Tarcutta, NSW.

It was painted by Peter and Samara Ingram sometime in early 2020.

It depicts local indigenous scenes including people sitting by a fire under the stars at night, telling stories of times gone by. There is also a Rainbow Serpent or Rainbow Snake from the dreamtime - an immortal being and creator in Aboriginal Mythology.
