"Is it now art?" artwork was created by Mina ja Lydia in 2015 as a response to Tallinn authorities' removal of another artwork created by Edward von Lõngus (EVL).

EVL originally created a piece of "Naked king" at the same location. Painting was his ironic response to massive political advertising in public space before Estonian elections in 2015. Depicting politicians as trying to hide their true identity behind their suits. The artwork was soon removed. Tallinn's city government declared that the painting wasn't approved by them and also had no aesthetic value. EVL took it calmly and ironically commented on that "it seems that authorities of Tallinn heard the truth and took it way too personal".

The next day after EVL's artpiece removal Mina ja Lydia painted their "Is it now art?" as an act of solidarity with von Lõngus. Ironically, Mina ja Lydia artpiece was never removed and is still present. Originally this work was created in 2007 as authors' reflection on controversy of street art.
