The Ascent of Ollie

Commissioned by Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation, in partnership with Ausgrid, made of paint and aerosol on brick. The artwork is inspired by Ollie, who was born with a double outlet right ventricle, needing open heart surgery at just two days old. After having many surgeries since, he wears a prosthetic leg and competes in athletics championships with an Össur Cheetah Xplore Junior blade, giving him the nickname Blade Boy.

The artwork is a testament to his story and the works of the Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation, as well as The Movement of Many.
