Ruby Laxton

Artwork inspired by the ecosystem of the Cooks River. Historically the most polluted river in Australia, life has slowly been returning thanks to the community efforts by local councils and community groups. You’ll find eels, turtles, mud crabs, pelicans, great egrets, darters and more thriving in the mangroves of this inner-city river.
