It's Like a Jungle Sometimes/Where the Swamp Was

There are two interpretations according to the artist and the Perfect Match commission of this artwork.
The artist refers to this as 'Where the Swamp Was', a tribute to the history of the area which was once the Gumbramorra Swamp. It was a thriving habitat for animals and plant life, now home to many people. Perfect Match details this to a similarly named piece in Newtown, which was inspired by the main lyric of Grandmaster Flash and the Furious 5's song "The Message". This piece is about the everyday person who struggles and fights to create an artistic industry in a neighbourhood like the Inner West. This city is a jungle, but the people have started taking over and changing its face.
