Everywhen

Curated by aMBUSH Gallery, this giant artwork celebrates and respects the Dharug First People of Parramatta, referencing an unbroken, non-linear time that spans the top floor of Westfield Parramatta.

The artwork features the topography of Country, connected with time and its relation to the land, with colours specifically chosen to represent the area from Wallamattagal ochres and natural earth pigments. Each of the artist's elements work together to bring about an abstract range of interpretations.

My First Peoples’ law dictates that nothing is created or destroyed because of the infinite and regenerative connections between our systems. This is the basis for our connection to Country; the Earth, Sky, Water and Spirit but also governs our connection to each other; kin, family and foe. It can be said then, for us, that time is non-linear and regenerates creation in endless cycles.
