Ouvre les yeux

This mural is part of a triptych painted on the walls of social housing buildings. It was created as part of the fifth edition of the “Beau dans la Ville” program, and the residents themselves chose the artwork on the Schiltigheim town hall website.

This mural depicts an eagle, accompanied by the message “Ouvre les yeux,” which translates from French as “Open your eyes.” Environmental protection is a recurring theme in Dan23’s artistic work, inviting viewers to become aware of the environmental crisis and to actively participate in the preservation of natural spaces.
